Leroy has been a “once in a lifetime dog” for me. His love of showing and life has always been evident and he was a great introduction into ownership of a Border Collie.
He won Best in Show at The NSW Border Collie Specialty in 1999 under Mrs. D. Fenton, and has had numerous All Breeds and Semi Specialty Best in Shows & Runner up in Shows in his career. He won BOB at the 2005 Brisbane Royal show and was shortlisted to the final eight in group.
Leroy is the sire of Gr Ch Benshiva Dot Com and of American titled progeny.
Critique:
”He presented me with the type that I like and moved well from all angles. Good Border expression and formed an overall, well balanced picture with well let down hocks. This dog appeared to enjoy the show ring, showing plenty of expression and alertness. …kept on going and seemed to get better the more I moved the dogs. A showy dog.” Mrs. Patrice Smith (NSW) Border Collie Club of Victoria 1999 where he won Aust Bred in Show.
